Lexus of IndooroopillyGolf Tournament
The sunshine continued for our Lexus of Indooroopilly owners as they tee’d off at the annual Golf Tournament at Links Hope Island. David Gillard welcomed all players with breakfast, a putting Master Class and the rules and regulations of the 4-ball Ambrose game.
Pro Golfers were sprinkled amongst the teams, where they played for a few holes with each group. It was a great opportunity for our keen golfers to get some tips from the experts, and utilise their precise shots for their scorecard!

There were a number of activations across the 18 holes for our golfers, which included determining their ‘smash factor’ on the 2nd hole tee shot, guessing their ball speed with PCYC Nerang on the 11th, and donating vital funds to the Wesley Kids to earn themselves a ‘hole-in-one’ on the 17th hole. Of course, a highlight of the day for our guests was seeing Lexus of Brisbane Group Ambassador and Head Chef at Stanley Restaurant, Louis Tikaram with his signature Prawn Hargow’s on the 9th hole. It was just the snack that was needed before attempting their tee shot over the water hazard.

For those less experienced golfers, a Beginner Clinic was held by Golf Guru David Thomas. At the clinic, new golfers were able to take some shots at the driving range, as well as on the practice pitching green and putting areas. All golfers came together for a buffet lunch at the club house before the prizes were announced.
Congratulations to Guy, Sally, Vincent and Angela who were crowned the champions of Lexus of Indooroopilly. Not only did the team take home a new Titleist Golf Bag, but they have also qualified to compete at Brookwater in March 2023 at the Lexus of Brisbane Group Golf Championships, playing for the Gordon Scifleet Cup.
